It’s about taking control of my own happiness instead of waiting for circumstances beyond my control to dictate how I feel. And finally, it’s about realizing that true happiness comes from within – from our own thoughts, attitudes, and actions – not from external factors like money or material possessions.
If you’re not sure where to start on your journey to choosing happiness, here are a few suggestions: 1) Pay attention to your thoughts. Are they mostly negative or positive?
Do they focus on what’s wrong in your life or what’s right? If you find yourself thinking more negatively than you’d like, try deliberately redirecting your thoughts towards something positive. For example: “I can’t believe I have to work late again tonight” can become “I’m grateful I have a job that allows me to support myself financially.”

One trap many people fall into is living either in the past (rehashing old hurts or mistakes ) or the future (worrying about what could happen). But Happiness Now comes from being fully engaged in whatever we are doing at the current moment … even if it isn ‘ t particularly exciting .
